What the law actually requires
- Hours by role. Supervisors: 2 hours. Non-supervisory employees: 1 hour. Both repeat every two years.
- New hires & temps. Within 6 months of hire or promotion to supervisor. Temporary/seasonal workers: within 30 calendar days or 100 hours worked, whichever is first.
- Content map. Covers the CRD (Civil Rights Department) required curriculum including abusive conduct prevention.
- Records. CRD says keep documentation — don't send it to the state. Verity Train holds the exportable audit log for the required 2-year minimum.
